Urban rail transit is globally recognized as "green transportation" with low energy consumption and little pollution, and it is of great significance for achieving the sustainable development of cities. JSTI is committed to the innovative development and technical support in the field of rail transit. It is involved in the research on the development strategic planning of urban rail transit, economic analysis, transportation statistics, energy conservation and emission reduction, engineering feasibility studies and post-evaluation, as well as research on network planning, passenger flow prediction, underground space development research, civil engineering design, test and inspection, and quality and safety consultation. Serving as the main lines and arteries of urban public transportation, it indirectly contributes its technology and wisdom to urban residents' travel, work, shopping and daily life, as well as to the construction of green, low-carbon and harmonious rail transit and the continuous improvement of the urban traffic environment.
